Common questions
Can I make flashcards from a PDF?
Yes. You add the file and Smartby builds flashcards from its content. The same works for one of your own notes, or for a topic alone if you have no file at hand.
Are flashcards in Smartby free?
No. Flashcards are part of paid access to Smartby. The Student plan costs 40 PLN per month or 400 PLN per year, and the Parent plan 100 PLN per month or 1000 PLN per year.
How is this different from ready-made flashcard sets?
A ready-made set is faster to start with, but it was written for someone else's syllabus and someone else's test. Smartby builds cards from the material you were given in class, so they cover exactly what you are responsible for. If you want a public library of ready-made sets to browse, Smartby is not built for that.
Can the flashcards contain errors?
Yes. AI-generated content may contain errors, so it is worth reading the set before you study it — dates, formulas, and definitions especially.
