Who is Smartby for?

Smartby was built for people who study on their own: students in the upper years of primary school, students in secondary and technical schools, candidates preparing for final exams, and university students. A separate parent plan lets an adult keep their own account and manage up to two child accounts. Tutoring agencies go through a separate, reviewed application process.

Which subjects does Smartby cover?

Smartby is not tied to a single subject. Study plans, problems, tests, flashcards, notes, and chat with materials all work for any topic you upload or describe — from mathematics, physics, and chemistry, through biology and history, to languages and university-level courses. The starting point is a problem statement, a topic, one of your notes, or a PDF document.

Which problems does Smartby solve?

Studying usually scatters across several tools: problems live in one place, PDFs in another, notes and revision somewhere else again. Smartby brings them into one workflow. You set a goal, add your materials, and state the time you realistically have each week, and the app proposes a plan of dated activities that you approve before it starts. When something slips, Smartby proposes changes with a reason and you decide whether to accept them.

Which features are available?

Smartby has four areas that all draw on the same materials:

• Learning path — a plan built from your goal, your materials, and the time you have, with a schedule and a Today view.
• Problems and tests — a step-by-step solution, then a test and flashcards that check what actually stuck.
• Chat with materials — questions about an uploaded PDF without searching every page.
• Notes — writing and organising in the same place where you keep your materials.

How is Smartby different from a general AI chat?

A general AI chat answers one question at a time and starts from an empty window on every visit. Smartby works on your materials and your plan: it knows your study goal, walks you through a topic step by step, then checks your knowledge with tests and flashcards generated from the same material. On top of that come the schedule, the Today view, and the parent account. If you need a one-off answer to a single question, a general chat is entirely enough. Smartby makes sense when you are learning something over more than one evening.

Which platforms does Smartby run on?

Smartby is a web application and runs in a supported browser on desktop, tablet, and phone. Nothing needs to be installed, and once you sign in you reach the same materials on every device. We do not currently publish a separate mobile app for iOS or Android.

How much does Smartby cost?

The Student plan costs 40 PLN per month or 400 PLN per year and covers a single account. The Parent plan costs 100 PLN per month or 1000 PLN per year and covers a parent account plus up to two child accounts. Annual billing is worth about two months of savings over a year.

What does Smartby not do?

Smartby does not do your homework for you and does not replace a teacher or a tutor. AI-generated content may contain errors, so important results and information have to be verified. Study plan creation is capped at ten generated plans per billing period. Smartby is also not an official tool of the Polish Central Examination Board or of any other examination body.

Who created Smartby?
